Backgrounds

How great is it to be in front of a Moroccan building one minute and be leaning against an entry door of an Italian villa the next?  Only with today's technology could you be able to accomplish this with just a few keystrokes.  Although I prefer "real" backdrops,  sometimes it is easier to create them digitally.  (Although flying around the world seems SOO much better!)  


These were photographs I took a few weeks ago.  I then visited  Disney's Animal Kingdom and realized I could get some great  backdrops which I could  merge with these pictures. I could spend an entire day taking pictures of walls and doors (Lol!!!) I actually had a few people doing the same after I asked them to scoot so I could take a picture.  They joined me in my madness !

Black and white beauty

There is something to be said about the simplicity and elegance of a black and white photograph.  It isolates the subject and brings focus to the most important part of the image -the emotion and the person.  

I fell in love with black and white imagery and all of the shades that you can create.  This is the start of my gallery.

6 months old

There is nothing more heart warming than watching your child grow.  This week this adorable 6 month old baby boy went into the water for the first time.  To everyone's surprise he loved it and explored the water and sand with so much excitement.  Sneak peak of his session.  

Happiness

When I think of happiness two things come to mind.  Jazmine and Jordyn.  They have to be two of the happiest little girls I have ever seen.  In turn they have brought an abundance of happiness into my life and I see life through their eyes now and it is amazing.


This day I was fortunate enough to capture their day together.


Seeing them interact and love each other has to be one of the most fulfilling and happiest moments in my life.  For this reason I submitted this photograph of my girls to Iheart's "Happiness" contest for April.
